Day Porter / Campus Services Specialist
Location: St. Petersburg, FL 33716 (Onsite, Monday–Friday)
Employment Type: Direct Placement with a Prestigious Firm
Schedule: 9-hour shift with a 1-hour lunch between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19/hour (40 hours/week, some overtime opportunities)
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Day Porter / Campus Services Specialist to support the cleanliness, functionality, and professional presentation of a large, Class A corporate campus. This highly visible role supports daily operations, restrooms, common areas, and on-site events while delivering a white-glove customer service experience to employees, executives, and visitors.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety in their day, and is comfortable stepping in wherever help is needed. This opportunity is a direct hire with a well-established and highly respected organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily interior and exterior cleaning, including restrooms, kitchens, common areas, windows, railings, and high-touch surfaces
- Restock restrooms and breakrooms
- Maintain campus appearance according to established cleanliness and organization standards
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness issues
- Support event setup and breakdown (furniture, signage, supplies, and cleanup)
- Assist with facilities, engineering, and property management projects as assigned
- Complete work orders and employee requests using a task management system
- Serve as onsite point of contact for vendors during service visits
- Provide flexible support for urgent requests, same-day needs, and special projects
- Perform general labor and miscellaneous tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- Must be female due to restroom support requirements
- Fluent in English
- Minimum age: 21 years old (role includes alcohol transport and storage)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Clean background check, motor vehicle record, and drug screen
- Willingness to assist outside typical job duties (team-first, hands-on mindset)
- Professional, polished appearance with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a highly visible environment with employees at all levels
Video pre-screening or similar may be requested to assess professionalism and culture fit.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in janitorial, facilities, or building operations preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks independently and respond to last-minute needs
- Physically able to lift, move, and set up furniture and equipment
- Willingness to occasionally support evenings, weekends, or urgent campus needs
