Sullivan & Barros, LLP is a boutique law firm in downtown Washington, DC, with a strong focus on commercial real estate transactions, real estate litigation, and land use and zoning matters. Our senior partners previously practiced at large firms and intentionally built a firm where attorneys can do sophisticated work while maintaining real work-life balance.
The Role
We are seeking a mid to senior-level Transactional Real Estate Attorney to support our commercial real estate practice. You will work with experienced partners on complex transactions and be part of a collaborative, close-knit team handling high-end client matters.
This role is ideal for an attorney who values quality work, mentorship, and long-term growth within a boutique firm environment.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 4 or more years of commercial real estate transactional experience working on transactions in the $10 million to $200 million range
- Experience at a mid-size or large firm preferred
- Licensed to practice in Washington, DC, Maryland licensure is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed, dependable, and collaborative
Annual billable expectation is 1,650 hours, designed to support high-quality work without an unsustainable pace.
Benefits
We value our team and offer:
- Base salary range $157,500 - $185,000 for those with 4-6 years of practice experience
- Base salary range $180,000 - $205,000 for those with 6+ years of practice experience who bring greater deal ownership, client interaction, and independent execution
