Job DescriptionCDR General Services LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Bilingual Structural Flux Core Welder for a full-time position in Baton Rouge, LA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), structural steel fabrication, and interpreting welding blueprints. Candidates must be comfortable working in an industrial environment and communicating in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding using Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) techniques.
• Weld structural steel components according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Prepare materials and surfaces for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and fitting.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, and other fabrication tools safely.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members in English and Spanish.

Requirements

• Previous experience in structural welding using FCAW (Flux Core).
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in an industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
