We have a great client that is looking for an IT Contract Specialist in Rochester Hills, MI

This contract is a remote position, but there may be some need to come on site for meetings. Candidates MUST be local to SE MI. Pay rate is up to $37.21 per hour.

JOB SUMMARY:

IT Contracts Specialist supports the development, negotiation, renewal, maintenance, and compliance of IT contracts with established standard terms, conditions, and templates. Working in close collaboration with the IT Contracts Manager, various business stakeholders, IT leaders, and Legal counsel, this role is responsible for contract execution, assessing contractual performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions as well as the support of specific standards, service level agreements, and contract administration. The IT Contract Specialist ensures all IT contracting and procurement activity is consistently executed in accordance with HFHS policy. As the senior member of a specialist group, the IT Contract Specialist provides guidance and support to the Contract Specialists and Junior Contract Specialists on System policies and departmental procedures.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the contract development and maintenance process and ensures consistent management of all IT contracts.
  • Monitors and tracks upcoming contractual actions and deadlines.
  • Supports the analysis and development of strategies for IT contract negotiations.
  • Collaborates closely with various departments and IT leaders in the contract development process.
  • Supports the development of standards for IT contracts, Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements, and general language and provisions specific to information technology products and services.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or Supply Chain Management required.
  • Experience mapping contracts on applications used by Ascension and making necessary amendments and negotiations
  • MUST HAVE 2-3 years of contracts experience (reviewing, negotiation)
  • MUST HAVE knowledge of medical and technical acronyms
  • NICE TO HAVE 5 years of contracts experience
  • NICE TO HAVE experience with IT contracts
