Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for parents, students, visitors, and staff, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and visitors upon entry to the gym
- Check athletes in for classes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable lobby and front desk area.
- Answer phones, direct calls, take messages
- Prepare, organize, and file documents as requested
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Monitor office & cleaning supplies and place orders as needed
- Assist with basic invoicing or payment processing
- Handle ProShop sales, inventory, and displays
- Other general office duties as assigned/requested
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Forms) and general office equipment (multi-line phones, scanners, printers).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities under light pressure.
- Knowledge of or previous training in Jackrabbit preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of or previous training in Square preferred, but not required
- Must be 21+
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-8:30PM & Saturdays 8:30AM-12:30PM
