Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred, but strong candidates completing CFY will be considered
- Experience working in a school environment is highly valued
- Passion for supporting children with diverse communication needs
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide both individual and group speech therapy sessions
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to support student achievement
- Adapt therapy techniques and materials to meet varied student needs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions that foster students’ growth and confidence
