We are seeking an Executive Director, Ambulatory Services to provide executive leadership and strategic direction for Premier Health Partners (PHP), a multi-specialty ambulatory physician practice consisting of eight service lines and approximately 90 employees, including providers and support staff. This role is responsible for the overall strategic, operational, and financial performance of PHP and serves as a key leader in advancing growth, operational excellence, provider engagement, quality, and patient experience.
The Executive Director will partner closely with hospital and health system leadership to align PHP services with broader organizational priorities. This position provides executive oversight of strategic planning, financial performance, service-line growth, workforce leadership, physician relationships, value-based payer arrangements, innovative payment models, and initiatives designed to improve access, quality, efficiency, and patient-centered care.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished healthcare executive with significant experience leading complex ambulatory operations, physician practices, or multispecialty healthcare organizations and a demonstrated ability to drive organizational performance and strategic growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all Premier Health Partners (PHP) practices.
- Establish and execute strategic priorities, business plans, and growth initiatives that support the organization's mission and long-term objectives.
- Maintain accountability for the financial and operational performance of the PHP practices, including budgeting, resource allocation, revenue cycle performance, expenses, provider productivity, patient access, and service-line performance.
- Partner with hospital leadership to ensure alignment between practice operations, strategic priorities, and broader organizational objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to providers, clinical leaders, managers, and support staff, fostering accountability, engagement, collaboration, and high performance.
- Partner with physician leadership to align clinical practice, operational performance, provider needs, and organizational strategy.
- Manage and direct activities related to value-based payer arrangements and innovative payment models, including implementation, performance monitoring, and collaboration with payers and internal stakeholders to support organizational and financial objectives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of initiatives to improve patient experience, efficiency, and service-line performance.
- Identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and development of ambulatory services in alignment with organizational strategy and market needs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare laws, regulations, accreditation standards, organizational policies, and quality requirements.
- Serve as a senior representative of the practice and foster strong relationships with physicians, hospital and health system leadership, organizational stakeholders, community partners, and other key external partners.
- Lead organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the practice's clinical, operational, financial, and organizational performance.

Qualifications
Experience: 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration, physician practice management, ambulatory operations, or a multispecialty medical group.
At least 5 years in a senior management or executive leadership role with responsibility for complex operations, financial performance, strategic planning, and organizational leadership.
Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or a related field required. Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or a related field preferred.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of ambulatory healthcare operations and physician practice management.
Expertise in strategic planning, financial management, budgeting, and operational performance.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary organizations and engage physicians, clinical leaders, and support staff.
Knowledge of healthcare quality, regulatory compliance, patient experience, and continuous improvement.
Exceptional executive-level communication, relationship management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
