Job Description
Join our team as a Building and Crane Maintenance Technician. This role involves a 3-month training period on the first shift, from 5:00am-1:30pm, before transitioning to the second shift, from 1:30pm-10:00pm. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting cranes and other heavy machinery, as well as ensuring the upkeep and functionality of buildings and their infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and execute necessary repairs on cranes and heavy machinery.
- Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.
- Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to assess crane conditions and identify problems.
- Replace worn or damaged parts and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and repair work.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols in all work performed.
- Identify and resolve issues with building systems and address minor repairs throughout the facility.
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and other components.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical and plumbing systems.
- Experience in facilities maintenance and machine maintenance.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and crane service.
- Skills in wiring, sprockets, chains, lubrication, and boomlift operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in maintaining and repairing various equipment and specialized systems.
- Ability to perform scheduled maintenance to prevent future problems and ensure optimal performance.
- Skills in addressing minor repairs such as patching, painting, and replacing hardware.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Carson, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
