Position Summary

Aircraft Accessories International (AAI), an FAA Part 145 Repair Station specializing in aircraft component repair and overhaul, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support daily operations within our warehouse and production departments. The Inventory Clerk is responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, pulling, and ordering aircraft parts and materials to ensure efficient workflow throughout the facility.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming aircraft parts, materials, and supplies.
  • Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage and accuracy.
  • Label, sort, and properly store inventory in designated locations.
  • Pull parts and materials for technicians and work orders.
  • Kit and stage parts required for repairs and overhaul projects.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the company inventory system.
  • Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment requirements.
  • Order parts, materials, and supplies from approved vendors as directed.
  • Coordinate with purchasing personnel and vendors regarding orders, shortages, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure traceability and documentation requirements are maintained for aviation parts and materials.
  • Assist with shipping and packaging of outbound components when required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom and warehouse environment.
  • Support technicians, inspectors, and management with inventory-related requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Experience in aviation, manufacturing, or repair station environments is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.


Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse and aircraft component repair facility. The employee may be exposed to machinery, noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures typical of an aviation maintenance environment.
