IT Technical Support Intern
Reports To: Manager, Technical Support
Job Summary
Learn about the cattle feeding business and information technology through an internship on the IT Technical Support Help Desk. With a strong customer service mindset and a can-do attitude, you’ll triage and resolve issues or route them to the appropriate internal teams. When not handling support requests, you’ll perform other support-related tasks, including documentation and more. You’ll gain business insight and learn what it’s like to work in the IT department of the world’s largest cattle feeding company.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as first point of contact for submitted technical support issues
- Triage issues including basic hardware, software, access, and connectivity problems
- Resolve or route and escalate issues to the appropriate teams with follow up
- Deliver courteous, professional, and timely customer service to all users
- Accurately document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Communicate clearly with users on issue status, expectations, and next steps
- Complete documentation and other support-related tasks as directed by manager

While this internship offers flexibility with hours and scheduling, it is an in-office position at our corporate headquarters near I-25 and Hwy 34 in Johnstown, CO. Infrequent after hour issue support may be required.
