This position is a 1099 contract position
Schedule: Every Thursday 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM
Must be registered with Yoga Alliance
How you'll serve our patients
Facilitates yoga groups during scheduled programming times in accordance with patients' physical, social, and emotional needs.
You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:
- Plans and facilitates yoga group lessons to support patients in a mental heathcare setting. Teaches yoga aligned with Health At Every Size (HAES) principles. Interacts with patients in a trauma-informed manner. Manages patient sign in sheet for each group. Reports any concerns to clinical leadership.
Must Haves
- Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT)- Required
- Knowledge of trauma informed care principles- Required
- At least 200 hours of yoga teacher training. Experience teaching yoga to adolescents and adults- Required
Bonus Qualities:
- Bachelor's Degree- Preferred
- Experience teaching yoga in a mental healthcare setting- Preferred
