Key Responsibilities

  • Service Coordination: Schedule service repairs and preventive maintenance efficiently, assigning tasks to technicians.
  • Technical Insight: Review technical manuals to understand service and parts requirements and address customer technical concerns.
  • Resource Management: Reserve necessary parts and tools for field service assignments and coordinate warranty repairs with vendors.
  • Customer Interaction: Prepare customer quotes, proactively promote factory service contracts, and schedule equipment servicing.
  • Follow-Up: Ensure repairs are completed thoroughly and follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction.
  • Training & Development: Participate in training sessions and fieldwork with technicians to enhance technical understanding.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist in meetings, discussion groups, and maintain clear communication within the team.
  • Record Keeping: Complete detailed, accurate work orders and maintain confidentiality of sensitive technical information.


Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma required; business training is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. ERP system experience and forklift operation training are advantageous.
  • Experience: At least 4 years in customer service; mechanical and/or electrical experience is a bonus.
