Includes malpractice coverage with tail.

Your Impact in This Role
This is a remarkable PRN opportunity for an enthusiastic Gastroenterologist to join a well-established inpatient team within a stable nonprofit health system. This flexible position allows you to engage with a busy, respected practice, equipped with advanced endoscopy technology and supported by a comprehensive network.
- Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians and 1 APP on a PRN basis
- Practice environment: Inpatient
- Primarily on-call from home unless emergencies arise
- Shifts are typically one week long (Friday 5 PM to the following Friday 5 PM), with flexibility available
- Employed role within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship
- Provide comprehensive inpatient GI consultations, utilizing advanced diagnostic and clinical skills to manage complex gastrointestinal conditions and direct acute patient care pathways
- Conduct specialized endoscopic procedures, employing ERCP and EUS techniques to deliver precise, high-level interventions that enhance patient outcomes and recovery times

Minimum Qualifications Required
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- MD/DO credentials from the Maryland Board of Physicians required prior to the hire date or job transfer date.
- Advanced Life Support certification preferred; accepted from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Capability to perform ERCP and EUS procedures.
