Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable Porter/Detailer to join our team. As a Porter/Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and welcoming dealership for our customers. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently.
Duties:
- Washing and detailing vehicles to ensure they are presentable for display and test drives.
- Ensuring vehicles are parked in an orderly manner on the lot, maximizing space and accessibility for customers and staff.
- Moving vehicles around the lot as per management instructions, ensuring they are positioned strategically for display and customer access.
- Keeping vehicles fueled up for test drives and ensuring that all vehicles have adequate fuel levels.
- Regularly checking and topping up fluids such as oil, coolant, and windshield washer fluid in parked vehicles.
- Conducting basic visual inspections of vehicles for damage, flat tires, or other issues, reporting any findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Keeping the lot clean and free of debris, including trash removal and sweeping, to enhance the overall appearance of the dealership.
- Assisting in the arrival process of vehicles to the dealership, including picking up vehicles and ensuring they are clean and fueled upon arrival.
- Performing light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing windshield wipers, and inflating tires to keep vehicles in good condition and ready for display.
