Your impact, broken down
- Set up and operate CNC lathes; support general machining as needed
- Interpret blueprints, part drawings, and routings to build efficient setups
- Load/unload programs and manage tool lists, offsets, and parameters
- Inspect parts against spec; record and maintain quality documentation
- Troubleshoot process deviations and machine alarms
- Complete routine preventive maintenance
- Keep your cell safe, clean, and organized
- Partner with teammates to meet production targets and lend a hand when needed
What you’ll need to succeed
- HS diploma (required)
- 5–7+ years of CNC lathe experience (required)
- Hands-on exposure to CNC Puma, Daewoo, and/or Mazak platforms (preferred)
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints (required)
- Mastercam experience (highly preferred)
Pay, shift, and location
- Compensation: $27.50 – $38.50/hour
- Employment Type: Full-Time, 2nd Shift, On-Site
- Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
- Location: Rockford, IL
