Compensation:
$15.50 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens with precision to ensure our guests enjoy fresh, clean sheets every time.
- Inspect linens for stains or damage, and take proactive steps to address any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, contributing to a safe and efficient workspace for everyone.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure the timely delivery of linens, enhancing our team's overall efficiency.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and effectively, following all guidelines to protect both you and the machinery.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies, and communicate needs to management to ensure we never run out of essentials.
- Assist in training new team members, sharing your knowledge, and fostering a supportive learning environment for all.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a hospitality or similar environment where guest satisfaction is a priority.
- Ability to sort, wash, dry, and fold linens with precision and care.
- Proven track record of maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when inspecting linens for stains or damage.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all guidelines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with housekeeping and other departments.
- Experience in monitoring inventory levels and communicating supply needs to management effectively.
