We are seeking an enthusiastic Hotel Front Desk Attendant who will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and lasting impression. You will handle all aspects of a guest's stay, from check-in to check-out, while embodying our property’s vision, mission, and core values. Your multitasking skills and guest-focused mentality will be key to ensuring a seamless experience. This dynamic role requires flexibility, including two Night Audit shifts and two evening shifts per week, to support our hotel's operations.
Compensation:
$13.50 - $14 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Contact housekeeping and/or maintenance departments when a problem is reported and perform basic maintenance so as to minimize out of order rooms
- Answer queries regarding the hotel’s services, charges, dining facilities, sports facilities, and travel directions
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately
- Balance cash at the end of each shift and generate reports for the next shift.
- Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all experience levels.
