As a Lowes Driver Assistant, you will support delivery operations by handling appliances, home improvement products, and mixed merchandise. You will help ensure safe, efficient deliveries while providing professional customer service and protecting merchandise throughout the delivery process.
Responsibilities
- Assist with deliveries of appliances, home improvement products, and mixed merchandise.
- Load, unload, and handle merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Provide courteous and helpful customer service during deliveries.
- Protect merchandise from damage during loading, transport, and delivery.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to prepare and organize merchandise.
- Maintain clean and orderly delivery sites by completing site cleanup as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in delivery operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of material handling and safe lifting techniques.
- Ability to navigate and plan delivery routes.
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
