Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Details
Summary:
This hybrid role supports both quality assurance and project coordination. Responsibilities include inspecting fabricated components, maintaining documentation, assisting with audits, and supporting project execution to meet internal standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products using standard measurement tools.
Perform internal quality audits and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., D1.1, D1.2, D1.5).
Document quality issues, inspections, and corrective actions.
Monitor fabrication processes to ensure specification adherence.
Investigate quality issues and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support project documentation, inventory tracking, and safety compliance.
Assist in evaluating material, labor, and process costs for quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and quality tools (FMEA, 8D, CAPA).
Proficient in reading blueprints and using inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Familiarity with GD&T and technical documentation.
Good communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD and nesting software is a plus.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in a quality inspection role within a regulated industry preferred.
Certifications such as ASQ CQE or NDT Level II/III are a plus.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field is a bonus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs.
Desk work with regular movement around the facility.
