Operations Lead (Contract)

I'm partnering with a leading life sciences organization seeking an Operations Lead to support congresses, HCP meetings, and internal meeting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in meeting coordination, event operations, vendor management, budgeting, and reporting within a regulated environment.

\n
Requirements
\n
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience
\n
• Experience supporting meeting operations, congress management, event planning, project coordination, or procurement
\n
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
\n
• Experience tracking budgets, invoices, purchase orders, and vendor activities
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry experience preferred
\n
\n
Responsibilities
\n
• Coordinate meeting intake, timelines, registration, attendee tracking, and event logistics
\n
• Support budgets, purchase orders, invoices, payments, and vendor management activities
\n
• Maintain meeting documentation, reporting, dashboards, and closeout records
\n
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful meeting execution
\n
• Track deliverables, identify process improvements, and support operational excellence initiatives
\n
• Provide support for speaker programs, HCP engagement activities, and related operational workflows
\n
\n
Preferred
\n
• Experience with Cvent, SpotMe, Power BI, Power Apps, or Veeva Vault
\n
• Background supporting congresses, advisory boards, or HCP events
\n
• Experience with reporting, process improvement, and compliance-driven operations
\n
\n
