We are a growing, boutique multifamily property management and construction company known for our hands on approach, strong client relationships, and commitment to quality. We manage and renovate multifamily assets throughout the Southeast and are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager who can operate with autonomy, leadership, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager will oversee renovation, rehab, and ground-up multifamily construction projects from conception through completion. This individual will manage field operations, develop accurate project estimates, and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and vendors. A successful candidate will be equally comfortable on the jobsite and in the office-someone who can drive schedules, control costs, and also support business development efforts.

A General Contractor (GC) license is strongly preferred, and the role requires travel across the Southeast region.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Field Oversight

  • Lead day-to-day management of multifamily construction and renovation projects.
  • Oversee field teams, subcontractors, and onsite operations to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Conduct regular site visits, monitor progress, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Manage project documentation, change orders, and reporting requirements.

Estimating & Preconstruction

  • Develop accurate, detailed cost estimates and scopes of work.
  • Solicit and review bids from subcontractors and vendors.
  • Assist with budgeting, value engineering, and project planning during preconstruction phases.

Client & Business Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, vendors, and potential clients.
  • Support business development by identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposals or pitches.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients, ensuring exceptional communication and service.

Financial & Administrative Management

  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Track project performance metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, local codes, and regulatory requirements.

QualificationsRequired

  • 7+ years of experience managing multifamily construction or renovation projects.
  • Strong field management experience, including supervising subcontractors and onsite operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate project estimates and scopes.
  • Proven track record of developing client relationships and supporting new business generation.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred

  • Active General Contractor (GC) license in at least one Southeastern state.
  • Experience working in a small or mid-sized construction or property management environment.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
