Lakewood Management is currently seeking a Part-Time Cleaning Specialist for Greenspire Apartments.
Greenspire has been the premier apartment community in Portage Michigan for over 45 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning the assigned location, following established procedures to maintain the appearance of the property and a high level of resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Clean vacant apartments in preparation for new move-ins. This may include but is not limited to: cleaning appliances, cabinets, bathrooms, ceiling fans, light fixtures, window blinds, etc.
- Clean common halls, office, clubhouse and restrooms. This may include but is not limited to: cleaning windows, baseboards, handrails, floors, washers/dryers, etc.
- Remove bulk mail, empty trash cans, and sweep for cobwebs
- Mop/scrub hard floors and/or vacuum carpeting
- Gather and remove trash/litter from apartment grounds
- Deliver notices/door hangers to residents
- Identify and report to management issues involving safety, property, and/or residents
- Assist Maintenance and/or Property Manager with other jobs or tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Able to professionally communicate with contractors, vendors, co-workers and residents
- Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be organized, able to prioritize, and exhibit a high attention to detail
- Able to perform a variety of physical labor including climbing ladders and/or up to 4 flights of stairs repeatedly, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting and standing for long periods of time. Maybe be required to routinely lift and carry up to 50lbs and use small hand tools.
- Able to work with various cleaning chemicals and tools and use Personal Protection Equipment as needed
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Compensation is commensurate based on experience.
