Long Term Contract (Potential for Perm Hire)
Title: Surgical Coordinator
Pay Rate: $20-25/hour
Location: On-site in Newton, MA
Schedule: M-F, 8A-4:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally
- Gather and document patient screening and scheduling information
- Take, relay, and manage messages and provide routine information accurately
- Provide routine information and assistance to patients and staff
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Professional problem solver with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Experience supporting senior staff, preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products
