Area Rug Co. is looking for a friendly, dynamic, self-motivated and sales-oriented individual with a creative eye for home decor for our location in Rochester Hills, Michigan!

Area Rug Co. currently has one existing location in vibrant downtown Birmingham, MI that opened in 2021 and has enjoyed a successful start with features on television and the newspaper.

We seek to stand out by offering excellent customer service, build long-term relationships with our clients and the community, and continue to bring the latest selection of modern rugs and home decor pieces at affordable prices.

This is a unique opportunity to start with the owner and scale vertically through the company and grow together.

The Rewards will be a combination of base hourly pay, commission, and bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Resolve customer inquiries in an agreed-upon timeframe
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Create sales material to present to customers

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Creative, detail-oriented
