Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio SLP license required
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12th grade population
- Familiarity with school-based IEPs and therapy documentation
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse K-12 student caseload (maximum of 80 students)
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions
- Provide guidance, support, and advocacy for students with communication needs
This contracted role offers a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, allowing the chance to build lasting, positive relationships over the full academic year.
