The Pricing Clerk works closely with the Senior Pricing Specialist in an effort to ensure all pricing policies are consistently delivered. Contributes to business sales and profitability by effectively supporting all aspects of pricing department operations, to include but not limited to price changes, ad displays and item price verification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs tasks as delegated by the Senior Pricing Specialist.
- Assist Senior Pricing Specialist with updates to the ERP system including, pricing, maintaining product information and adding new items.
- Update ERP system with import freight details for vendors.
- Work with Buyers, development Manager and Graphic Artist to ensure new items are in price book.
- Collaborate with Graphic Artist to update old spec sheets.
- Team with Website Developer and Database Manager to update websites.
- May research and resolve pricing and information discrepancies.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by Senior Pricing Specialist.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient MS Office products knowledge
- Excellent math skills
- Strong data entry skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
EDUCATION
High School Education or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
One (1) year of experience in a pricing and/or data entry role preferred.
