A growing company in the manufacturing industry produces consumer and industrial equipment designed to meet the needs of customers across commercial and consumer markets. This opportunity is focused on building and expanding an Inside Sales organization while leading the Sales Support function. You will develop talent, strengthen sales execution, and partner across the business to grow accounts, improve customer relationships, and enhance sales processes.

Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the Inside Sales team to achieve sales goals and continuously improve performance.
  • \n

  • Help build and expand the team by interviewing, selecting, hiring, onboarding, training, and developing new sales representatives.
  • \n

  • Set individual and team goals, performance expectations, KPIs, and development plans.
  • \n

  • Develop strategies for prospecting, pipeline growth, territory management, account development, and account penetration.
  • \n

  • Analyze sales results, customer data, market trends, and business indicators to identify growth opportunities.
  • \n

  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting and performance metrics.
  • \n

  • Manage Sales Support activities, including quotes, order entry and tracking, shipping inquiries, account resolution, and customer communications.
  • \n

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to resolve escalations, improve workflows, and support customer needs.
  • \n

Must-Have Skills:

\n

    \n
  • Progressive sales experience, including at least 5 years in sales and 2 years in a supervisory or sales leadership role.
  • \n

  • Demonstrated experience building, expanding, or significantly developing an Inside Sales team.
  • \n

  • Hands-on experience hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and developing sales professionals.
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of prospecting, pipeline development, territory management, account management, and account penetration.
  • \n

  • Ability to establish sales goals and KPIs, manage performance, and analyze sales metrics and customer data.
  • \n

  • Strong customer relationship, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • \n

  • Experience managing customer escalations and sales support activities.
  • \n

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • \n

Nice-to-Have Skills:

\n

  • Experience in manufacturing, tools, equipment, industrial products, or outdoor power equipment.
  • \n

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • \n

  • Experience leading both onsite sales employees and remote support resources.
  • \n

  • Background improving sales processes, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.
