They are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer in Washington, DC to join their team!
Key Responsibilities:

Write and optimize SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and reporting needs.

Develop scripts and analytical solutions using programming languages such as Python or R.

Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT processes and scalable data pipelines.

Leverage cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse) to deliver enterprise data solutions.

Build and maintain dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Apply statistical analysis and foundational machine learning techniques to generate insights.

Optimize data workflows to improve system performance and reduce costs.

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, communicate results, and support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in data analytics, data engineering, or related roles.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining analytics pipelines and solutions on scale.
Certification Expectations
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
- Google Professional Data Engineer Certificate
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure) with focus on data analytics solutions.

· Paid time off will initially be accrued at a rate of 6.33 hours per semi-monthly pay period, for a total of 19 days/152 hours annually for the first two years.
