Litigation Attorney – Personal Injury
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a growing plaintiff-side personal injury firm. This role is ideal for an attorney who can independently manage litigation files, handle cases from filing through resolution, and advocate strongly for injured clients.
The attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury matters, including drafting pleadings and motions, handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, preparing for trial, and negotiating settlements. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants meaningful case ownership, strong support, and the ability to work on high-value personal injury matters.
Responsibilities:
- Manage personal injury cases from litigation through settlement or trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, mediation briefs, and settlement documents
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial proceedings
- Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and settlement value
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal team members
- Work closely with paralegals, case managers, and support staff
Qualifications:
- Active California Bar license
- Prior personal injury litigation experience required
- Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances
- Trial preparation or trial experience preferred
- Strong writing, negotiation, and client communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while working with a team
