Job Title: Foreclosure Paralegal
Location: Manhattan, New York City
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days per week in-office)
Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000/year, DOE
We are seeking an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to support our attorneys in all stages of foreclosure matters. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in foreclosure and/or bankruptcy law and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
This firm is located on Madison Avenue in New York City, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and file foreclosure pleadings, motions, affidavits, and related documents
- Conduct title updates, docket searches, and review loan and property documentation

Assist attorneys throughout all phases of foreclosure proceedings

Draft and file bankruptcy-related documents (proofs of claim, motions, etc.) when applicable

Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain accurate records in the firms systems

Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors

Perform legal research as needed

Ensure all filings comply with federal, state, and local foreclosure rules
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of paralegal experience in foreclosure and/or bankruptcy law

Paralegal certification preferred

Knowledge of NY foreclosure procedures and court filing systems (NYSCEF/eCourts)

Strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Ability to work in-office three days per week in Manhattan
