Job Description

Construction Site Administrator

Schedule: Monday – Saturday

  • Morning: 5:30 AM – 8:30 AM
  • Evening: 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
  • Plus 4 additional paid hours weekly (40 hours total per week)
  • This role requires being on-site twice each day, six days per week — during both the early morning sign-in and the evening sign-out periods.

Duration: One year
Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience

Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and organized Construction Administrator to oversee daily sign-ins and sign-outs for approximately 150 field workers.

This position is with a fast-growing and highly successful commercial solar installation company based in New Jersey, operating on large-scale projects nationwide. The role is critical in keeping operations running smoothly by managing all administrative interactions directly with workers — allowing site leads and foremen to stay focused on production quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily sign-ins and sign-outs for all workers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workers on-site for all administrative questions or issues
  • Filter and resolve day-to-day worker concerns so site leads can stay focused on production and quality
  • Track and report attendance issues and trends
  • Confirm hours with each technician weekly before payroll is processed to prevent errors
  • Handle pay discrepancies on Fridays by identifying issues, obtaining approvals, and submitting corrections
  • Troubleshoot minor tech issues on-site related to timekeeping or communication tools

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual — must be on-site for early and late shifts
  • Comfortable managing high-volume sign-ins and worker interactions
  • Basic tech troubleshooting experience is a plus
  • Construction or field operations experience preferred, but not required

Why Join Us
You’ll play a key role in supporting one of the most successful and fastest-growing solar contractors in the country. This role directly impacts the project’s success by keeping field operations organized, efficient, and focused — helping ensure that production and quality remain top priorities.
