Configuration Manager (Journeyman)

We're hiring a Configuration Manager to help ensure technical data and project documentation stay accurate, accessible, and secure. In this role, you’ll support the creation and execution of configuration management (CM) processes that directly impact project success and compliance. This position blends attention to detail with collaborative teamwork across technical and business areas.

What You’ll Do

• Apply configuration management and data analysis procedures to support project integrity.
• Manage automated systems that track status, performance metrics, and document control.
• Generate documentation for technical reviews, audits, and configuration control boards.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date records of all project/task performance indicators.
• Create and manage project files and databases, ensuring reliable data access.
• Support the setup and continuous improvement of configuration management processes.
• Control and maintain documents such as:
• Aircraft technical data packages (TDPs)
• Electrical and mechanical engineering drawings
• Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Coordinate with Public Affairs to submit documents for public release.
• Communicate clearly across teams with strong written and verbal skills.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field (or a qualifying substitution).
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, including:
• 1+ year specifically supporting Department of Defense (DoD) projects or environments.
• Experience working in structured, documentation-heavy environments with clear processes.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to maintain precise records and reports.
• Active Secret Security Clearance
