Job DescriptionCDR General Services is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters for a full-time opportunity in Plaquemine, LA. Candidates must have previous experience in their respective trade and be able to meet the technical and safety requirements of the position.
Job Details

- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Pay: 38–45 per hour
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Welder, Fitter, pipe Fitter, or Boilermaker
- Welders must be able to perform Stick and TIG welding
- Pipe welding experience required
- Must have own toolbox and required basic hand tools
- OSHA Basic certification required
- Must pass required background screening
- Must complete a written skills assessment
- Must complete a practical skills test
- DISA testing may be required depending on the project
- Must follow all company and job-site safety requirements
Qualifications
- Strong industrial, pipe, welding, fitting, or boilermaker experience
- Knowledge of applicable tools, equipment, and trade techniques
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
- Ability to follow technical instructions and project specifications
- Reliable transportation
- TWIC card is not required, but candidates who already have one are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying schedules depending on project needs
