Job Summary

This position is 75% working remote with 25% hands on site around the Phoenix Area (which would require a reliable vehicle).

We are seeking a goal/detail-oriented Computer Technician to provide IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role requires excellent customer service, strong troubleshooting skills, critical thinking/learning skills and the ability to resolve complex technical problems efficiently. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Helpdesk support team to resolve issues and escalate issues to higher Level technicians when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and updates.
  • Assist with Active Directory account management, including user access and group policies.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
  • Provide advanced support for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and common enterprise applications.
  • Perform data recovery, backup management, and system imaging.
  • Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking and hardware deployment.
  • Work with Level 1 support teams, providing guidance and handling escalated tickets.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Support remote users through remote desktop tools and phone/email assistance.
  • Assist in cybersecurity best practices, including antivirus management and security updates.
  • Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades and migrations.
