- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM; Friday, 6:30 AM–12:30 PM, with occasional overtime

Job Description An established manufacturing company in Waukesha, WI, is seeking a Machine Operator to join its first-shift production team. In this role, you will operate specialized cutting equipment to produce custom foam products according to job specifications. This hands-on position requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and a commitment to quality and safety. Candidates with manufacturing, carpentry, or machine operation experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate foam-cutting equipment, including horizontal, vertical, and reciprocating saws and splitting machines.
- Read work orders, blueprints, and measurements to produce parts according to specifications.
- Process materials of various sizes while minimizing waste and maintaining product quality.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, identify defects, and complete production documentation.
- Operate material-handling equipment as assigned and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing, carpentry, maintenance, or machine operation experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, safety instructions, and operating procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, including converting fractions and decimals.
- Ability to read a ruler in 1/16-inch and .06-inch increments.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and grasp throughout the shift and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery in a moderately noisy manufacturing environment.
