Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dependable Pharmacy Assistant/Cashier to join our team. This role supports daily pharmacy operations by assisting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with professionalism and care
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Support pharmacy staff with inventory, stocking, and organization
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the front-end area
- Uphold patient confidentiality and follow pharmacy protocols
Qualifications
- Active Washington Pharmacy Assistant License (or currently in the process of obtaining one)
- Previous experience in retail, pharmacy, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with point-of-sale systems
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment
