We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial HVAC service, retrofit, repair, and special projects. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of project performance, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, safety, customer satisfaction, and project closeout.

\n

The HVAC Project Manager serves as a key liaison between field operations, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial HVAC projects ranging from routine service work to complex projects valued up to $4 million.

\n

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC projects from turnover through final closeout while maintaining control of schedule, budget, quality, safety, and profitability.

\n

• Develop project execution plans, manpower forecasts, procurement schedules, and financial projections.

\n

• Coordinate activities between field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.

\n

• Monitor labor productivity, project costs, billing status, cash flow, and forecast accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

\n

• Manage equipment procurement, material releases, subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and change order processes.

\n

• Review project progress and implement corrective actions to maintain budget and schedule objectives.

\n

• Ensure compliance with company safety programs, OSHA requirements, and quality standards.

\n

• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, issue resolution, and exceptional customer service.

\n

• Review contract requirements and ensure all project activities remain compliant with contractual obligations.

\n

• Oversee project documentation, reporting, forecasting, billing support, and project closeout activities.

\n

• Support collections efforts and ensure timely processing of project-related financial documentation.

\n

• Identify additional service, repair, and capital project opportunities within existing customer accounts.

\n

• Conduct regular project reviews to evaluate performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

\n

• Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC project management, field supervision, estimating, service operations, or commercial construction management.

\n

• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including: Chilled Water Systems, DX Systems, Boilers, Pumps, Air Handling Units, Controls Systems, Piping Systems and Ductwork Systems

\n

• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing schedules, budgets, and client expectations.

\n

• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documentation.

\n

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, subcontractor management, project forecasting, and cost control.

\n

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

\n

• Ability to collaborate effectively with field teams, customers, vendors, and executive leadership.

\n

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.

\n

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company background screening requirements.
