Job Description

Our client, a growing automotive manufacturing company in the Troy area, is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, partnering with cross-functional teams, and providing financial insights that help drive business decisions.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
The compensation range is $85,000 - $90,000 depending on experience. Plus, Medical, dental, vison, 401(K) with company match, paid time off and holidays.

The position is on-site, Monday – Friday, with flex start time between 7:30am – 8:30am-

Financial Analyst Duties:

Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support operational and strategic business decisions.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual financial planning.
Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and explaining variances.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership.
Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and key performance metrics.
Support month-end and year-end close activities.
Perform customer pricing analysis and profitability reviews.
Partner with Accounting, Operations, Purchasing, and Sales to gather and analyze financial information.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiencies.
Participate in special projects and additional financial analyses as needed.

Financial Analyst Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar finance role. In a automotive or manufacturing environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
