Duration: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $21–$23/hour during the contract period. (Compensation will be renegotiated upon conversion to a full-time employee)

Overview

Are you a recent graduate looking to launch your career in the financial services industry? We are seeking a Junior Financial / Operations Analyst to join the team of a leading global investment banking firm.
\n
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 6 months to 2 years of experience (internships included) who are eager to build a career in finance, operations, or investment banking. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting financial and operational processes while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Support daily financial and operational processes
- Analyze, reconcile, and validate financial data
- Assist with transaction processing and operational workflows
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Support process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned

Qualifications
\n

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience (internships count!)
- Internship or professional experience within banking, financial services, or investment banking is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
