Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, facilitating interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to foster students’ academic and social development. As a vital resource for individuals and groups, you will also provide crisis intervention, support individualized education plans (IEPs), and consult with teachers and families to create a nurturing environment for every learner.
Desired background and skills:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist (State or National)
- Experience providing psychological services in an educational setting preferred
- Familiarity with evaluation tools and assessment protocols
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong ability to communicate with students, families, and colleagues
- Adaptable to diverse caseloads and able to manage multiple priorities
Key responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments and interpret data to support student needs
- Deliver direct services, such as counseling and behavioral interventions
- Participate in student support teams and response to intervention (RTI) processes
- Collaborate in eligibility determinations and multidisciplinary meetings
- Contribute to professional development initiatives for staff and educators
