Responsibilities for Merchandise Assistant include but are not limited to:
· Create, enter, revise, and track domestic & import purchase orders.
· Communicate daily with 50+ vendors regarding PO status, allocations, and shipment issues.
· Coordinate travel, vendor visits, sample management, and general office support for merchants.
· Follow up on late shipments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate PO and ASN/EDI data.
· Prepare weekly reports (spend grids, On‑Order Inquiry, Buyer Control files) and assist with special projects.
Candidates for Merchandise Assistant must meet the following requirements to be considered:
· Strong administrative & organizational skills (filing, tracking, follow‑ups, spreadsheets).
· Ability to manage and revise purchase orders accurately and quickly.
· Excellent communication skills for daily vendor interaction (calls + emails).
· Proficiency in Excel/spreadsheet creation and maintaining spend reports.
· Ability to multitask and support multiple Buyers/AVP simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

· Pay: $23/hr.
· Shift: Onsite - Monday–Friday, Business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
