Job Summary
A growing organization in the aerospace and defense industry is seeking a Human Resource Manager for a direct hire opportunity. This management-level HR role is ideal for a well-rounded human resources professional who enjoys owning daily site HR operations while partnering closely with leadership to support employees, strengthen compliance, and improve the overall employee experience.
The Human Resource Manager will manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, leave administration, workers’ compensation, HRIS data, and compliance. This position offers meaningful visibility with site leadership and corporate HR, along with the opportunity to influence engagement, retention, talent development, and process improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle HR operations for site employees, including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Administer HR programs and processes related to compensation, time and labor, payroll, benefits, leave administration, performance management, and compliance.
- Conduct employee relations activities, workplace investigations, corrective actions, and disciplinary processes in alignment with policy and employment law.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, personnel records, HR reporting, compliance documentation, and required training or certification records.
- Partner with site leaders and corporate HR to support talent needs, employee engagement, succession planning, policy communication, and HR process improvements.
- Manage workers’ compensation cases, HR audits, employment inquiries, and ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
- Employment type: Direct hire.
- Location: Gainesville, FL.
