Three Speech-Language Pathologist positions are available, welcoming both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFY) with a passion for delivering high-quality school-based services. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY
- Texas licensure or ability to obtain it promptly
- Experience in pediatric populations—school-based or healthcare setting preferred
- Comfortable delivering therapy in-person or via teletherapy platforms
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and goal development
- Adaptable, collaborative, and solution-focused approach
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to a dynamic K-12 caseload
- Travel between assigned schools (itinerant), with paid mileage for travel time
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans to address a variety of communication needs
- Use district-supported IEP systems (comprehensive training offered)
- Engage in team meetings and collaborative planning with educators and families
- Maintain thorough progress records and participate in the IEP process
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions provided by the district
