Job Title: Legal Support Specialist
Location: Hybrid - you can report to Vienna, VA or Winchester, VA or Pensacola, FL
Type: Contract
Compensation: W-2 Hourly - Negotiable
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid - 2 to 3 days onsite
Security Clearance: No clearance required. Background check, Credit check and fingerprinting are part of the hiring process
Responsibilities
- Assist legal teams by handling administrative tasks such as document management and data entry.
- Support subpoena specialists with document production by learning various computer programs and databases.
- Manage confidential legal documentation and adhere to court procedures.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively across teams to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain organizational standards in a dynamic environment, adjusting to changing business needs.
Requirements
- Substantive experience with legal documentation and court procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential information and perform administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication, coordination, and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards at both state and federal levels.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability to a changing environment.
