Job Description
- The Senior Data Delivery Analyst serves as a technical resource supporting marketing programs by collaborating with clients to receive, validate, and map data files into our standard file structures. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity and consistency, as well as executing and managing moderate to highly complex data projects. These projects include creating, updating, and maintaining multiple data tables, updating process specifications, and implementing custom data routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to receive and validate marketing program data files.
- Ensure data is mapped accurately to Deluxe’s standard file structure.
- Complete moderate to complex data projects, including maintaining several data systems and tables.
- Develop and execute ad-hoc data routines and reporting using SQL and Excel.
- Establish project plans and deliverables with timelines based on client needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all data projects.
- Validate live production data samples to ensure quality and consistency.
- Conduct data quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot issues.
- Present data recommendations and insights to clients.
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned channel, product suite, or data environment.
- Mentor and provide guidance to team members as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Marketing, or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience; or HS/GED with 9+ years of related experience.
- Strong experience in data warehousing and business intelligence environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data manipulation.
- Experience with SQL or other relational databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics, direct marketing, statistics, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret and synthesize large volumes of data to support business decisions.
- Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
