The ideal candidate is both creative and detail-oriented, with the ability to deliver compelling visuals that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions across Amazon, proprietary websites, and additional digital sales channels.

As part of a cross-functional digital content team, you will help bring product stories to life—showcasing features, benefits, and brand identity through high-quality graphics, layouts, and product-ready assets. You will work within established brand style guides while adapting content to channel-specific best practices and requirements.

Job Description

In this role, the E-Commerce Production Design Specialist will:

Product Content Creation

  • Produce, edit, resize, and optimize product imagery—including CGI, lifestyle photography, and standard product photos—for multiple e-commerce channels.
  • Conceptualize creative ways to visually communicate product and category features.
  • Execute visual content strategies defined by business leaders and content partners.
  • Apply, maintain, and update style guides to ensure consistency across categories and platforms.
  • Write supporting product content such as descriptions, titles, bullets, and feature highlights in the appropriate brand voice.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including merchandising, channel teams, and copywriters.
  • Prioritize initiatives using business insights and assortment knowledge.

Business Acumen

  • Follow brand voice, visual identity, and channel-specific style guidelines.
  • Use business data and reporting to prioritize workloads and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Integrate customer feedback and service insights into content improvements.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements such as size charts, technical specs, videos, and additional product assets.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to stay current with industry trends and marketplace standards.

Technical & Process Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot content display issues related to system rules or style implementation.
  • Evaluate internal workflows and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of internal tools, CMS platforms, and how content changes surface on-site.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving e-commerce strategies, systems, and content standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within content operations, helping refine style guides and processes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Design, Graphic Design, or related field — or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital production design, preferably within e-commerce or marketplace environments.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working within Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce and product marketing best practices for showcasing product features and attributes.
  • Understanding of marketplace standards, algorithms, and optimization best practices.
  • Experience working with style guides and detailed content standards.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong systems aptitude and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
  • Portfolio required (PDF, website, or work samples).
  • Ability to produce and resize graphics (editing, cropping, optimization for web and marketplaces).
  • Strong creative skills with the ability to develop product- and category-specific visual content.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple style guides (e.g., Amazon standards and proprietary brand websites).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Seller Central.
  • Production design experience supporting product-focused e-commerce pages.
  • Marketplace experience (e.g., Amazon).
  • Knowledge or experience in the powersports or outdoor recreation industry.
