Lead Property Maintenance Technician
Protect Exceptional Homes. Lead by Example. Build a Career.
Location: Park City, UT
Benefits: Company Vehicle • Health Benefits • Paid Vacation • Paid Holidays • Growth Opportunities
Join a Team That Values People as Much as Properties
At PMI Mountain Collection, we manage luxury vacation homes throughout Park City and the surrounding mountain communities. We believe our homes deserve exceptional care, our homeowners deserve outstanding communication, and our employees deserve a workplace they genuinely enjoy coming to every day.
We're looking for a hands-on leader to oversee our maintenance team, coordinate daily property needs, and ensure our luxury vacation homes remain in exceptional condition. This role combines leadership, problem-solving, preventative maintenance, inspections, and hands-on repair work. If you enjoy variety, take pride in quality work, and like leading by example, this could be the perfect fit.
What You'll Do
Every day is different. You may start the morning helping a technician troubleshoot a repair, spend the afternoon completing an owner inspection, handle a plumbing repair, coordinate vendors, or identify preventative maintenance projects that protect our homes before they become costly problems.
As our Lead Property Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Lead and support our maintenance team while setting the standard for quality and professionalism.
- Coordinate daily maintenance schedules and prioritize work orders.
- Ensure repairs are completed correctly, efficiently, and on time.
- Perform general handyman work including drywall, painting, carpentry, fixture replacement, minor plumbing, appliance troubleshooting, furniture assembly, and general home maintenance.
- Complete detailed property inspections and identify preventative maintenance opportunities.
- Develop and complete off-season improvement projects to keep homes in exceptional condition year-round.
- Communicate repair updates and project status with our operations team so homeowners receive timely and accurate information.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, guest services, and operations to ensure every home is guest-ready.
- Assist with deliveries, inventory, supplies, and occasional property runs.
- Coordinate outside contractors and vendors when specialized work is required.
- Help maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory.
- Step in wherever needed to support the team and ensure an exceptional homeowner and guest experience.
- Trash removal
- Snow removal
- Pre-arrival inspections
- Emergency on-call schedule and management
What We're Looking For
We're searching for someone who enjoys taking ownership and solving problems—not someone waiting to be told what to do.
The ideal candidate is:
- Experienced in handyman or residential maintenance work.
- Comfortable leading others while remaining hands-on.
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
- A strong communicator with both teammates and homeowners.

- Able to identify small issues before they become expensive repairs.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and professional.
- Comfortable using smartphones and technology for work orders and communication.
- In possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
