The IT Support Specialist provides on‑site technical support for a key facility in Eden Prairie.
Essential Functions
• Provide technical support for end users in person, over the phone, and via remote tools
• Deliver hands‑on support for shop floor and operational technology equipment
• Resolve issues directly or escalate following defined processes
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on IT and shop floor equipment
• Troubleshoot and escalate general hardware and software issues
• Image and enroll PCs according to corporate standards
• Perform basic Active Directory tasks such as password resets
• Provide training to end users on hardware and software
• Set up new employee PCs and support onboarding activities
• Manage Windows security settings and local vulnerabilities, act as onsite contact for cyber incident remediation
• Purchase and provision IT supplies as needed
• Assist users with local data backups
• Participate in IT audits and provide required documentation
• Work with third‑party vendors for proof‑of‑concepts, procurement, and issue resolution
• Provide remote‑hands support to regional and global level 2 and level 3 Infrastructure and Network Engineers
• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Active Directory administration
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Experience configuring and maintaining Windows PCs, peripherals, and basic wireless network troubleshooting
• Experience with EntraID, Intune, and ServiceNow
• Two+ years of IT experience
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent certifications
