Laundry Worker
Bethany Home the Valley’s leading Senior Care facility has an immediate opening for a Laundry Worker. This is a part time position.
Summary
Tends laundering machines to clean articles such as resident clothes by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Washing commercial and residents' personal laundry.
· Mending, ironing, labeling and folding clean laundry.
· Gathering of soiled laundry and distribution of clean laundry in a manner that prevents cross contamination.
· Be responsible for cleaning entire work area at end of each shift.
· Loads articles into washer and adds automatic feed of liquid detergent, bleach and softener.
· Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them successively into wringers dryers for measured time cycles.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
