Job Description
The Director of Childwatch is responsible for leading and managing the Childwatch program to provide a safe, engaging, and positive environment for members’ children while parents participate in camps. This role oversees daily operations, staff performance, and program quality to ensure exceptional member experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise Childwatch staff
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized childcare environment in compliance with all policies and regulations
- Develop age-appropriate activities and routines for children
- Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with members and their families
- Manage check-in/check-out procedures and ensure accurate attendance tracking
- Handle parent communication, feedback, and any incidents professionally
- Monitor staffing levels and labor efficiency
- Ensure team adherence to Burn Boot Camp standards and culture
Qualifications:
- Experience in childcare, early childhood education, or related field
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for working with children and supporting families
- Must pass background check
